Conflict is an opportunity

Conflict arise when views and opinions clash. It is an inevitable part of work and life and avoidance usually leads to growing frustration and mistrust. This over-time reduces and degrades the quality and productivity of professional and personal relationships. 

But many find conflict uneasy to approach and manage. They would rather look the other way or tiptoe around it, anything just not to acknowledge and tackle.

Skillfully they help parties expand the lens through which they view the issue creating room to explore the commonalities that often exist beyond what were believed to be opposing, polarizing views.

Gifted leaders help parties navigate forward with creativity. They facilitate the discovery of mutually beneficial resolutions forming collaborative strategies to achieve what now becomes a shared vision.

So the next time you are faced with a conflict consider approaching instead of avoiding. If you are willing to listen and dare to explore differences, a conflict can have a positive outcome and a personal growth experience.
